Like any mum I wanted to cook wonderful, creative and healthy meals for my kiddo. Even my Kid was never a fussy eater but I liked to make fancy, decorative and eye appealing meals/ snacks. But soon started to realize more I prepared Jazzed-up meals for him his expectation too increased there were times when I gave him simple dal, roti and he would make faces. Let’s face it such meals can only be prepared once or twice in a week not everyday! We mums already have so much to accomplish everyday! So here, are my simple yet delicious two recipe’s that appeal to kids eyes and help those taste buds to develop. These 2 recipe's can be combined to be served as a healthy breakfast. This is usually our Sunday Breakfast! Recipe 1- Kryptonite Parantha/ Palak ka Parantha: This name is given by my son and it’s his fav parantha because of the color, ofcourse and also it has power to defeat even Superman. Ingredients Required: Spinach/Palak- 500gms Garlic- 2/...
Our preschoolers have so much energy that it is difficult to
go for grocery shopping with them. It is somewhat impossible to ask them to sit
at a place when you are at the doctors or be quite when your are having an
important conversation. In moments like these we hand out our mobile to our
little ones. But we mothers do worry about their screen time and what our kids
are watching or playing on our devices. No matter how much we limit their
screen time we want their time on wireless devices to be fun yet educational.
One more concern that we face is these educational apps are quite expensive and
the ones that are free have ads in them (even when it is prohibited to put ads
or third party links in kids apps), below I have stated few apps that are quite
fun for kids yet not heavy on our pocket.
1. Busy Shapes:
This is one App my kiddo Kabbir loves it
and to tell you the truth oce I start playing this I get hooked to it too.
Busy Shapes gives kids a
digital playground to explore and has lots of features in place to make it easy
for the youngest users to play without crashing or accidentally swiping out of
the app. It uses artificial intelligence to automatically adjust to keep kids
challenged. Parents can set up different accounts for several kids (up to 40)
and review how long kids played and the concepts they explored. Busy
Shapes isn't about learning the names of the shapes; rather, it's
about developing an awareness of how objects relate to each other and how they
can impact the objects and the world around them.
Parents need to know that Busy
Shapes is an exploring-to-learn activity for toddlers for cognitive
development of kids

2. Happy Snap:
For Age: 4+
This Game is mission inspired, which help
kids to explore their surroundings.
Happy Snap is an augmented reality app that
sends kinds on a scavenger hunt to find particular items and take pictures.
There are two options -- indoors and outdoors -- each of which sets kids on a
mission to find "something green" or "a vegetable."
Photo-recognition software gives kids feedback on their choices. Parents will
need to allow access to their device's camera, but photos are immediately
discarded and so do not end up in the device's camera roll. Because kids are
wandering around with a device in their hands, parents may want to ensure that
they can do so safely and without dropping the device.

3. Duckie Deck Trash Toys:
For Age: 3+
Duckie Deck Trash Toys is a
virtual creation tool made for preschoolers. Kids choose from a variety of
recycled and found items and make creatures. Kids aren't limited by how many
items they can add to their creature. No ads, parent settings, or instructions
distract or limit kids. They are totally free to be as creative as they want.
Kids will be inspired to both reuse items
and to create -- both great lessons to learn from an app.
4. Big Kid Life Fire Fighter:
A Role Play Game for Kids aged 4,
Big Kid Life Firefighter is exciting
action for wannabe future firefighters. There are also some educational
mini-games throughout the app for young kids. As one of a series of similarly
crafted apps by developer Fingerprint, this is probably the most intense
role-play game for pre-K and kindergarten app users in this series because of
the real nature of being a firefighter: There are angry-looking flames and
smoke, ladders, stranded kittens and puppies, and the chance of getting
"burned" (which, in this game, means turning red).
The educational games that are interspersed
with the more arcade-style firefighting game are solid learning practice in
basic shapes, numbers, colors, and more.

5. Thinkrolls:
This is one app I can’t wait to give this
to my son currently I am hooked to this game. Parents need to know that Thinkrolls is
a preschool-friendly physics platformer that is delightfully fun for all ages.
There are no instructions, so kids have to think critically and employ physics
logic to figure out how to solve each level. Parents can set up accounts for up
to six players, customizing the challenge level for each kid. If kids get
stuck, they can just hit the restart circle to start over. The game's
ultimate reward comes from completing the level successfully rather than from
acquiring points (or penalties), so kids are free to experiment and learn.

The best apps for preschoolers are the one
that have few rules and objectives and really make the most of our
preschooler's creativity, curiosity, and silliness. Some of the apps that you
find on App Store are completely open-ended, some involve numbers, and some
develop a love of reading.
